I’ll be giving a talk about my book Between Gravity and What Cheer: Iowa Photographs at the University of Iowa Visual Arts Building on Tuesday, January 22 at 5:30pm in lecture hall 125. This talk is open to the public and free of charge. This lecture is conjunction with studio visits with U of I photography majors with Professor of Photography Rachel Cox. Phipps' work will be on display in the James Watrous Gallery as part of the New Midwest Photography exhibition.
