Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the best way to contact you?
A: If you are a new client, please schedule a Quick Phone Call from my booking page, or schedule a Drop Off Materials meeting to bring something by to print or reproduce. I do not answer voicemails or respond to emails for new clients. Booking page HERE.
Q: Do you develop film?
A: No. I recommend DSM film lab in DesMoines. They do mail order. Link HERE.
Q: I need prints made from old film negatives. Can you do that?
A: Yes. The negative first needs to be digitally scanned. Once I scan the negative I can make prints or you can take the file and print elsewhere.
Q: Do you do passport photos?
A: Yes. Please schedule a Quick Phone Call from by booking page to discuss.
Q: I have an old photo that has faded (or is in pieces, or is scratched, etc.). Can you restore it?
A: Yes. I will need to re-photograph the image on a copy stand to create a digital file. I can restore the photo in the digital file, but not the original image. We can then make prints, or you can take the file and print elsewhere.
Q: What can you reproduce?
A: Photographs, digital negatives, artwork or large flat objects. Anything 11x14” or smaller can be photographed on a copy stand. Anything larger is considered an art reproduction and is priced higher.
Q: What is your pricing?
A: Film scans: $5. Photographs: $25. Art Reproductions: $85. If you have lots of things to reproduce I charge $85 per hour. The more you bring in, the more affordable it becomes. Please schedule a phone call to discuss more.
